Since 1990, businesses and organizations have come to us for specialized flexible barrier-packaging solutions that don’t exist on store shelves.
Our Goal
Our number one goal is to provide businesses with unique protective packaging solutions that can’t be bought off the shelf. Mass-produced flexible packaging products are available at consumers’ fingertips with the click of a button, but shopping through millions of options only to find that none of them fit all of the specifications that your items require is a waste of time and resources.
Pre-Engineered or Custom
While we work with many businesses and organizations that simply need machine time for pre-engineered designs or part numbers, we help many others make appropriate decisions on their customization options before moving to production.
Good things take time, but since time is of the essence and you need a packaging solution NOW, we ask our customers to provide us with detailed information upfront, which helps us make informed suggestions and moves your project into production without any holdups or surprises.
Common Mistakes
We often see businesses unknowingly ask for improper materials, heat seals and closures, etc. due to a lack of technical knowledge that only packaging professionals would know, but when you work with our team of engineers, machine operators, and hand fabricators, you’re guaranteed to get the perfect package.
Our custom process is controllable and straightforward, and the end results offer protection and preservation that is far superior to anything off the shelf.

Fun Facts
1990
Bill & Kris Smith opened the business in 1990 on a shoestring budget, with 10+ years of manufacturing experience, four kids at home, and a drive to create a successful business that could grow with their family.
Patent approved
We were granted a patent on the zipper closure system that we designed and use to create a hermetic seal between top and bottom barrier covers. It’s used frequently in cultural heritage preservation and also in our line of hermetic crypt liners, called BioShield™.
Tongue twister
Our equipment can produce 65” long, contour sealed, in-line die cut, vision-system inspected, spouted pouches for the pharmaceutical industry. Try saying that three times fast!
Rust Prevention
We used VCI chemistry and high barrier materials to create a proprietary family of three high barrier laminations, called Bluguard VCI®, for long-term corrosion prevention.
Mixed Bag
Birthing-tub liners, birdseed bags, ice cream flavoring storage-liners, crypt liners, pest eradication enclosures, UGRE bags, and more! We’ve seen it all and welcome customers from a diverse group of industries.
Out of this world
We can’t talk about it, but some of our barrier enclosures are up in Outerspace right now!
